BESPOKE SERVICE
Crew and Tailor offers bespoke uniforms at various levels of customisation - from fully bespoke garments to the modification of existing C&T uniform styles.
Stages of a fully bespoke order
1. Project Consultation
A meeting will be arranged either by phone, Skype, in person or by email, enabling us to build a client profile and a project plan based on your specific yacht requirements and budget. We can also explain our services and the bespoke process to you more in-depth.
2. Proposal and Quote
Based on the information you’ve given us, we present you with a job quotation of the services and products you have requested. Once approved, we commence work on the design stage.
3. Design
Personalised sketches and a vision board are created from your client profile. This is a great chance for you the client to visualise the piece/(s) coming to life and tailor the product further.
4. Pattern Making
A technical package is made to aid in the construction of the garment. At this stage all design and construction elements have been carefully considered but are still open to amendments.
5. Source Fabric and Trims
Fabrics and trims are recommended by us with your budget and the garment end use in mind. Fabric samples are sent to you to inspect the quality and feel.
6. Samples and Alterations
A sample is always recommended and is an important way to see if any pattern modifications are needed and how the chosen fabric performs before manufacturing. The client has the opportunity to try the sample on and give any feedback so amendments can be made.
7. Production and Delivery
Production timelines and costs for individual orders will vary depending on fabric selections and design elements.
Small Modifications needed? Easily tailor one of our existing garments to your specific needs. We will make minor design modifications, change colour or fabric to best meet your needs.
